1961
Founded in 1961 by Sandy Koonz – hence our name – our company has deep roots in the community and a rich history in the rental industry. Although Sandy's vision was for a “general rental” company, it laid the foundation for what we are today.
1970’s
In the 1970s, Les Rouse joined Sandy as a business partner, and took the helm after the time came for Sandy to retire.
1980's
Les’s daughter, Toni also joined the business, and began transforming Sandy’s U-Rent into the premier party rental company it still is to this day.
1990's
With the booming of the wine industry, a unique opportunity presented itself to cater to this burgeoning sector. This realization ultimately shifted our focus to event & party rentals exclusively.
2000’s & 2010’s
From weddings to corporate gatherings, we’ve had the honor of being an integral part of many celebrations in our community. Beyond “just” offering items for rent, we offer all our customers in-depth product knowledge, as well as practical advice on event planning.
Present day

Our future
Our goal is to grow alongside our community and the event industry. So, we plan to enhance our inventory with new rental items based on our customers’ feedback & demands, while continuing to maintain the high standards of service that you’ve all come to expect.
